Add all of the ingredients into a large bowl and mix well with a wooden spoon (or your hands) until well combined.
Shape into 4 equal patties, about 2 inches thick.
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before cooking. This will ensure the patties keep their shape and make them extra juicy!
Cooking on the BBQ
Preheat BBQ to medium-high heat and grill patties for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are no longer pink inside. Add cheese on top of the patties at the last minute to get perfectly melted.
Cooking in the Air Fryer
Cook the turkey burgers at 370 degrees F for 7 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Assembling the Burgers
Start by adding a piece of lettuce, then the turkey patty, cheese, slice of tomato, pickles and onions. Dress with any other condiments and sauces of your choice.
