Honey Lime Salad Dressing is my everyday salad dressing since it only requires a few simple ingredients, and it’s ready in less than 2 minutes. This homemade dressing is inspired by my favourite Mexican flavors and this salad dressing pairs so well with a variety of fresh savory salads.

What is a lime vinaigrette made of?
Lime vinaigrette is made by combining fresh lime juice and oil, like extra virgin olive oil, vegetable oil or even canola oil. As a rule of thumb, a vinaigrette is 3 parts oil to 1-part acid ratio. Use that as your base for all your salad dressings for the best results.
What you’ll need to make this Honey Lime Salad Dressing…
- 1/2 cup of plain Greek Yogurt
- 1/4 tbsp of fresh lime juice
- 1 tsp of lime zest
- 1 tbsp of olive oil
- 1 tbsp of honey
- 2 tsp of Worcestershire sauce
- 2 garlic cloves, can substitute with 1/2 tsp of garlic powder
- 1 tbsp of dijon mustard
- pinch of kosher salt and black pepper
How to make a Honey Lime Dressing…
- In a blender or food processor, add the lime juice, yogurt, zest, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, garlic cloves, mustard, honey, salt and pepper. Blender until smooth, about 30 seconds.
How do you make a Honey Lime Dressing without a Blender?
In a small bowl, combine all of your ingredients. What will be key here is to finely mince your garlic. Whisk together until all of the ingredients are well combined.
Store in an airtight container or mason jar for up to 5 days. When ready to use, pour some of the Honey Lime Dressing into the bottom of a large bowl, add a few handfuls of greens on top and toss to coat!
