Another quick and simple Holiday appetizer, perfect to snack on while waiting to ring in the New Year. So flavorful, yet only using a handful of ingredients. Finish it off with a drizzle of honey and you have the perfect appetizer.

This recipe makes 8 topped crips, double or triple if needed.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 pear, sliced thinly (about 8 slices)

  • 1 tbsp of olive oil

  • Camembert cheese

  • 2 tbsp of fresh rosemary, chopped

  • 1 tbsp of honey

  • 1/4 cup of pecans, roughly chopped

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

  2. Slice your pear lengthwise, as thinly as possible and add to a medium mixing bowl.

  3. Toss with olive oil and fresh rosemary.

  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes on a baking sheet until the edges start to turn golden.

  5. Once cooled slightly, add on top of your crisps.

  6. Top with camembert cheese, pecans and arrange on a serving plate.

  7. Drizzle the honey all over the topped crisps and serve.
