If you are a fan of cocktails like a White Russian or Irish Coffee, then you will love love love this one. Coffee cocktail recipes have gained popularity again in the past years, and honestly, they never should have gone out of style. These delicious cocktails are perfect to finish off a meal with, and I love serving them at dinner parties.

Why you’ll love this Peanut Butter Whiskey Cocktail…

This Peanut Butter & Vanilla coffee cocktail is perfect all year round. The flavours might seem heavy but in reality, this after-dinner drink is quite refreshing. The Screwball Peanut Butter Whiskey is made with all-natural flavours and I especially love it since it does not have an artificial taste. This specific whiskey is the perfect balance of sweet and salty, which makes it the perfect addition to add to a variety of cocktails. Just like this Warm Spiced Apple Cider. It would also be a great addition to make the perfect spiked eggnog recipe, and I can’t wait to make it during the next holiday season.

This Peanut Butter & Vanilla Espresso Martini is topped off with velvety foam. I used a little bit of heavy cream and put it in a frother and it made such a nice foam. If you don’t have a frother on hand, you’ll just need a little arm power to whisk the cream in a small bowl until you reach the perfect foamy consistency.

Entertaining tip: brew your coffee or fresh espresso in advance. Allow to cool and keep in the fridge until you are ready to make and serve the martini cocktail.

Here is how to make this Peanut Butter Whiskey Espresso Martini…

This recipe makes one peanut butter espresso martini cocktail

Start by chilling your martini cocktail glass. This will keep the cocktail cooler longer when serving. I like to chill my coupe glass in the freezer for at least 15 minutes, up to 30 minutes.

Prepare your foam by whipping your heavy cream or use a milk frother for the perfect consistency.

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add 1 oz of Skewball Peanut Butter Whiskey, 1 oz of coffee liqueur, 2 oz of chilled espresso shots or coffee and 1/2 oz of vanilla simple syrup. Shake for at least 20 seconds.

Strain into your martini cocktail glass. If possible, double strain to ensure you filter out the small ice chips from the cocktail.

Spoon a few tablespoons of the milk foam on top on the cocktail and garnish with some espresso beans if desired.

How to make the Vanilla Simple Syrup…

In a small saucepan, combine 1/2 cup of white sugar and 1/2 cup of water. Simmer on medium heat until the sugar is fully dissolved, stirring occasionally. Allow the sugar syrup to cool and add in 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract and mix. Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days in an airtight jar or container.
