Add it to cocktails, mocktails, lemonades, desserts and more for the perfect balance of sweet and spicy! Ingredients1 cup granulated sugar1 cup water (equal parts water and sugar ensures a well-balanced syrup)1-2 jalapeños, sliced (adjust based on how spicy you like it)½ cup fresh mint leavesDirectionsIn a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar and water. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely. Add the sliced jalapeños and fresh mint leaves. Allow the mixture to simmer for about 10 minutes, then remove it from the heat. Ingredients½ cup olive oil½ red onion, diced1 garlic clove1 tbsp lemon juice1 tsp lemon zest1 tbsp creamy Dijon mustard1 tbsp maple syrupSalt and pepper, to tasteInstructions1. Add all ingredients to a mason jar or measuring cup.2. Blend using an immersion blender until smooth and creamy.3. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.4.
